Anne Knox enjoys creating abstracts, collages, and loose paintings with acrylics. She has taken art workshops over the years from a variety of instructors to help grow her talent.

Turning a photo upside down so she would learn to paint the shapes and the light and dark values, instead of the object and the colors, was an artistic moment that improved her work and made it more interesting.

Born in Tallahassee , Florida, Anne lived most of her life in Atlanta before moving to Thomson with her husband. Andy is her biggest encourager of her desire to paint !

She finds it gratifying to pursue her creative passion and make unique art. This expression of imagination inspires her to continue to paint. By establishing a focal point to draw the viewers’ eyes, Anne hopes in life as in art, they will focus on the good and not let all the negative space draw their attention.
